Sultan Kosen, the tallest man in the world (2.46 meters) might move to Romania soon, if the woman he loves - an inhabitant of the city of Brasov - will accept him as boyfriend. For now, Sultan only saw her picture and was very impressed. After he paid his first visit to Romania last spring, he decided to return and meet the girl face to face, for the first time on Monday, in the “Happy Hour” show on PRO TV.
At 2 meters and 106 kg, Simona Elena Serban is no dwarf herself. She caught the Turk's eye when she sent her photo to "Libertatea" tabloid. For Sultan, it was love at first sight and he immediately decided to meet her and even move to Romania, if things go well between them. "I must know her and I'd like her to become my girlfriend. With her, I wouldn't feel so tall. I'd move to Romania for Simona!" Sultan declared. Simona admits she was impressed by the Turk, but she wouldn't move to his home country. "I'd like to talk to him, meet him in person. I don't feel like going to him, because it's in Turkey... But if he wants to come to Romania, I'll teach him how to speak Romanian. People who will see us in the street will certainly look in admiration," Simona said. The first time he came to Romania, last spring, Sultan said he has everything he wants, but is unhappy because he does not have a girlfriend. Bucharest Herald
