US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton will receive Hungary's Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi in Washington on June 24, the US Embassy in Budapest said on Wednesday.
Clinton and Martonyi are scheduled to discuss a wide range of topics of mutual interest, including the approaching NATO summit in Lisbon, energy security, social integration, Hungary's role in regional cooperation and ensuring the stability of the region, the embassy said in a statement.
Hungary is a "close friend and key partner" of the US in handling global challenges, the statement said.
