Is a sex scandal inside PSD being prepared before the elections? Print E-mail
Saturday, 06 February 2010

In serious rows over the election of the new leader, PSD could become the stage of a sex scandal, the main character of which would be one of the social- democrat leaders who is running for the highest position in the party, according to Inpolitics.ro.

The source says that party members on Friday received several anonymous text messages reading the announcement of a future spicy disclosure about an important member of the party.

The text of one of the messages sounds like this (we have to mention that we are not going to disclose the name of the accused character and also the fact that he is not  Adrian Năstase, as some would be tempted to believe) ”Did you know that X is gay? Soon we will publish in the media images with his gay affairs. X-GAY, this would be the popular label which will bury him with his stinky character. It will bury you too, if you don’t stay away from him…” says the source.

A second similar message cannot be reproduced due to the high level of vulgarity. The text message was most probably sent to those included in one of the data bases offered to the party members at the beginning of the new term, because the text messages were also received by PSD members which were elected in the parliament and resigned and are now part of the independents group.

The threat from the end of the message is also suggesting the solution of political matters, in close relation with the future PSD congress, where the victim of the potential disclosure could run for an important position.

So far the leaders with real chances to win the party’s leadership are: Adrian Nastase, Miron Mitrea, Cristian Diaconescu and Mircea Geoana.
