After two concerts in Romania in 1999 and 2008, Metallica returns to Bucharest next year, on occasion of wandering festival Sonisphere, which will be held on June 25-27, according to sonispherefestivals.com.
The same source says that a Romanian edition of the festival would be held in the capital on June 26-27.
The festival opening concert, on June 16 in Warsaw, will gather Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Mastodon, but it is not yet known whether the other bands except Metallica will attend the entire European itinerary of the festival.
Metallica was set up in 1981 and is one of the most appreciated rock bands in history. Over their career, they released nine studio albums, three live albums, two EPs and sold over 100 million records all over the world, being rewarded with seven Grammys. Bucharest Herald
