If until now the president's discontent with the Boc government 'transpired' unofficially in the media, on Thursday evening, the head of state publicly challenged the executive, sating that he has a "difficulty" in his relationship with it, "which says one thing and does another." The president's discontent was triggered by the manner in which the government decided to drop expenses and said he gave it "September 1 as deadline." The head of state says he doesn't have "a problem" with PM Boc, as speculated lately, but insisted that the prime minister should have "taken a different solution, that of taxing pensions, by emergency ordinance," in order not to hike VAT. |
